Hi, I’m Zoë. Still a big kid myself, I love exploring, creating and discovering the world around me. Hanging out with smaller folk makes this much more fun and I get far fewer funny looks as I jump off the swings exuberantly.

I offer child minding services from my own home in a small village called Blean, shared with my awesome husband, hilarious daughter and a ridiculously large house rabbit named Monkey Moo. Well, Boo actually, but Monkey Moo suits him too. He adores cuddles and is partial to the odd shoelace or two. He was recently married to Martha, and now spend most their days snuggled up. There is also a grown up kitten named Ted who is eager to chase what he can when he can. Two younger kittens, mischievous doesn't even come close to being their middle name. And a naughty white rabbit who believes he is part ninja. And four greedy chickens who love to
announce arrivals. And a sweet little fluffy hamster who loves to roam whilst we're colouring. There are a few
others too, but the largest by quite a great deal is a rather goofy pooch named Dexter who just can't get
enough love. He would be quite happy having a cuddle that lasted all day long.

Our home is warm and welcoming and most importantly safe and secure, tucked away in a cosy little road very near to the countryside and play park. We have an enclosed private garden, a playroom filled with toys with space for crafts, cooking and learning, a separate dining area and a play den and tree fort outside. The toy cupboards are stuffed with a variety of toys for different ages from toddler favourites to more mature games and puzzles, not to mention the table football for the bigger kids in the winter months. Such as my husband.

Centrally located between Canterbury and Whitstable means lots of lovely picnic trips to the beach, the park, the castle, the allotment, the river and the woods. I thoroughly enjoy the company of children as it allows me to learn and play too, so this profession seemed like the most natural path to take. I have completed the relevant training and am fully registered with Ofsted. I also hold a paediatric first aid qualification, have public liability insurance and certificates in Food Hygiene and Health & Safety and Child Protection. I have achieved the highest rating for Food Hygiene with the local council and love to cook so meals are varied, but all tasty and wholesome.

With a degree in design management, creativity has been a constant love throughout my working life and spare time. I can offer lots of opportunities to create, build, imagine and make. I enjoy helping children to think creatively, because this opens up all sorts of doors for them now and later on in life.

If you would like to arrange a visit to our home and meet the extended furry and feathered family, please use the contact details or fill in the form here.
